Longhorn 已知问题及BUG:
[适用版本]: 4051
● Explorer 在 sidebar 打开时还会出现内存溢出。
● 在 Outlook 2003 中点击个人文件夹无法显示 Outlook Today， 只出现一些 HTML 源码。
● 网络浏览默认无法使用。
● Internet Explorer 的下载管理器工作不稳定。
● 如果其他的菜单覆盖了 sidebar 区域，sidebar 背景将被抹去. - Fix: Resize Sidebar。
● 当 Windows Explorer 或 Internet Explorer 被锁定时，将被询问原来的EXPLOER标题栏（或以前版本的WIN）的位置。 (原文无法理解, 翻译的可能不准确)
● TCP/IP Stack 在 Longhorn 4051 已经完全改写. Microsoft 重写了internet 路由部分, 如果设置静态IP将无法访问 Internet。
Longhorn 的 ISO 刻录后无法启动:
[适用版本]: 4051
● 此次泄漏的4051版本未包含boot记录，你可以使用我们提供的 boot-fix 中的引导记录文件来刻录bootable CD
Longhorn 性能优化 - 卸载不需要的组件:
[适用版本]: 4051
● 打开 /windows/inf/sysoc.inf, 删除所有的 HIDE 词 (不要删除逗号)
● 打开Control Panel -> Add/Remove Programs -> Add/Remove Windows Components
● 删除以下组件:
× %avalon_desc%
× %mfDesc%
× %mygames_desc%
× %sidebar_desc%
× TabletPCRuntime_desc%
× oc_biologon
× Windows File System Services (WinFS)
× Windows Storage Full-text Index
注意: 前面提到的当 sidebar 打开时Windows Explorer 会内存泄漏, 请确保 %avalon_desc% 和 %sidebar_desc%, 这将一定程度的减缓或消除内存泄漏事件。

Longhorn 性能优化 - 性能选项:

● Computer -> system properties -> Advanced -> Performance options -> Settings
● 清空以下选择框:
× Animate Windows when Minimizing and Maximizing
× Fade or slide menus into view
× Fade or slide tool tips into view
× Fade out menu items after clicking
× Show preview and filters in folders (VERY IMPORTANT)
× Show shadows under menus
× Show translucent selection rectangle
× Slide open combo boxes
× Slide taskbar buttons
× Smooth edges of screen fonts
× Smooth-scroll list boxes
× Use a background image for each folder type
● Computer Window ->Tools -> Folder Options -> View
● 清空以下选择框:
× Automatically search for network folders and printers
× Choose smart icons when opening new windows
× Display file size information in folder tips
× Display simple folder view in explorer's folder list
× Hide extenstions for known file types
× Use Domain folder sharing wizard
× Use simple file sharing
Longhorn Explorer 之内存泄漏问题解决:
[适用版本]: 4051
● Disable sidebar (右击 sidebar --> properties, 不选中 Enable Sidebar)
● Computer -> tools -> Folder Options -> 选中 "Run Explorer windows in a seperate process"
● Computer - 右键 -> System Properties -> Advanced -> performance -> Settings, 不选中 "Show preview and filters in folder"
● 重启后不会再出现内存溢出。
Longhorn Explorer 之网络连接问题解决:
[适用版本]: 4051
在4051中, 你将无法访问部分的网络共享甚至是整个网络, 解决方案如下:
● 确认LH计算机和其他机器的工作组名相同. (my computer -> system properties -> Computer Name -> Change, 先不要重启)
● 修改 Microsoft Networks 的客户端设定: Control Panel -> Network Connections -> Local Area Connection -> Properties, 选中"Client for Microsoft Networks" -> Properties -> 选择 Windows Locator -> OK
● 重新启动。
Longhorn Sidebar 组件:
[适用版本]: 4051
在4051这个版本中的Sidebar有5个tiles:
● Clock Tile - 被重新设计, 不像以前的那么笨重. 增加了"digital time" (如: 5:23PM) 和当前日期显示.
● Quick Launch - 显示 Quick Launch 中的项目. 重新设计, 取消了names by the items.
● Classic Tray Tile - 显示系统托盘项目. 一些图标显示不正常. (注意: 似乎刷新不正常)
● Slide Show Tile - 在 sidebar 上播放图片slideshow, 一个很无聊的tile. (注意: 只能显示在 My Picture中的内容, 不能定制)
● Sync - 文件同步. 需要 WinFS 支持
Longhorn 网络连接 - 静态IP和WAN连接问题:
[适用版本]: 4051
症状:
当你改变网络属性时(如IP, 网关等), 将引起更新的TCP/IP栈被激活并断开. 但不幸的是, 更新的TCP/IP栈似乎并不能区分 WAN IP 和 LAN IP, 因此越过所处的子网访问将无法实现. (本地访问没有问题 - 只是在访问 internet时才会发生).
原因:
当你在DHCP和静态IP之间切换时, 使用IPV6 Tunnel 将使你得到多于1个IP地址从而导致无法启用Tunnel
解决:
● Disable这个连接.
● 不要选中 Microsoft TCP/IP Version 6 选项(4051中无法卸载IPv6).
● 设置静态IP选项.
● Enable这个被 Disable 的连接，问题解决
Longhorn 网络连接 - 不能完成Network Setup Wizard:
[适用版本]: 4051
症状:
Network Setup Wizard设置网络时提示错误：
To set up a network you must have permission to configure Internet Connection Sharing, Internet Connection Firewall, and network bridging.
原因:
默认用户没有 network identification wizard 权限
解决:
● Control panel -> user accounts -> "start the network identification wizard”
Longhorn MSN Messenger 无法自动登陆:
[适用版本]: 4051
症状:
设置了MSN Messenger 系统启动时自动登录却无法实现
原因:
默认用户没有 network identification wizard 权限
解决:
1 定位 MSNMSGR.EXE -> 右键 -> properties -> Compatibility
4 选择 windows 2000
5 选中允许 non-administrators 使用
6 确定
